Oven-Baked Chicken Breast

One of our all-time favourites is our oven-baked chicken breast recipe. All it takes is 5 steps that are not only easy to make but you can add your desired favourite seasoning to your dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breast
  • Favourite spice, Your choice!
  • Drizzle olive oil
  • 1-2 knobs of unsalted butter
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven and baking dish to 220 degrees. Brush some oil on your baking dish.
  • Choose your favourite spice to use such as Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder – It’s your choice!
  • Pat your chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Place your chicken breasts in the baking dish and drizzle it with olive oil on both sides of the chicken. Sprinkle half of your rub over one side of your chicken breasts then flip them over sprinkle the rest on the other side. Put a piece of butter on top of each chicken breast.
  • Place your baking dish in the oven and bake for 18-25 minutes. Baking can vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breast. Your chicken breast is cooked when it’s completely opaque all the way through.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with your favourite side dish e.g. garden salad, mash potatoes or some fresh greens.
